Rab is a medieval town on the island of the same name that was first mentioned 10 years before Christ in a document by which the Roman emperor Octavian Augustus gave it independence. The old town testifies to the history of the town, and four Romanesque bell towers, the former duke's palace and Gothic and Renaissance portals with the coats of arms of noble Rab families stand out. In addition to the partially preserved walls that surround the city, there is also Komčar Park with a promenade and a swimming pool.
