The Villa St. Anna is a house where you immediately feel comfortable. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated. Everything corresponds to the pictures and the handover by the owners was very friendly and very helpful.
The villa is in a secluded location on the edge of a tiny hamlet. The journey is a bit unusual and also tedious, but after a few days you get the hang of it. However, you shouldn't forget anything when shopping, because it's not possible to quickly get something, since the nearest larger supermarkets take at least 40 minutes to drive.
Due to the location, it is very quiet and there is no problem with noise even at night.
The villa has fly screens on all windows and doors so that you can keep the windows open at night. All windows and doors are also fitted with shutters, so you can keep out the heat during the day. Independently of this, air conditioning is installed in all rooms, so that the house always stays cool.
The equipment of the house is more than generous. There is almost everything you need in your own household to cook and clean. The fridge is huge and also offers plenty of space for frozen food and has an ice maker. The cooker has three gas hobs and one regular plate. The house is meticulously clean and the furnishings are of high quality. So we felt very comfortable.
The pool is cleaned twice a week with a vacuum robot, which we found to be sufficient. A pan is available for superficial dirt.
However, we do not want to leave unmentioned a few small drawbacks: There is no laundry basket to transport the washed laundry from the washing machine to the drying rack and the washing machine is quite small and even the only drying rack is too small for 4 people. Even if the laundry dries fairly quickly, you can only dry one washing machine load per day.
Furthermore, there are no umbrellas. Unfortunately, there is only one available and that's definitely not enough, since the pool area is in the blazing sun for almost the whole day and you can't stand it for long without a parasol. Due to the secluded location and privacy, the house is suitable for nudists.
But those are the only shortcomings that we noticed. Otherwise everything is in excellent shape and we enjoyed our holiday very much. The owners are incredibly nice and friendly and always try to fix any requests or problems immediately.
We'd love to come back! (Walter)
