No doubt that Istria is Croatia's most hedonistic region. Gastronomy here is just superb and we have no doubt that in every town you can find a restaurant or agrotourism that serves delicious food.

However, we decided to select a few restaurants, along the coastline, that will leave you speechless with their views, staff, menus and that have that WOW factor.

Bonaca Restaurant & Lounge Bar - Pula

If you are looking for a romantic dinner set up in Pula, then restaurant Bonaca is the place to go to. This modern restaurant offers a variety of Croatian, American, Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. Each dish is served with gorgeous views of the endlessly blue Adriatic sea.

This venue is perfect for renting out for a wedding or a private party. Oh, and did we say that our furry friends are very welcome? 

Now, since it’s located in Verudela, you will have to park your car in the parking place and walk a few minutes through a beautiful park to get to the restaurant. 

La Puntulina - Rovinj

Inspired by the culture of Rovinj and its surroundings, this restaurant showcases the spirit of Italian influences. Having a unique terrace spread over cliffs and Rovinj’s old city walls, this restaurant offers a blend of traditional food and new trends in preparing seasonal, fresh ingredients.

Trošt - Vrsar

The tavern is filled with the sounds of light Mediterranean music and crackling of the fire in the fireplace. What is there to wish more for?

Restaurant Hrast - Poreč

The family tradition that this restaurant offers alongside the offer of home-made food, in combination with the magical ambient right next to the sea and the nearness of the Old Town make Hrast one of the best restaurants in Porec. All of their dishes are based on traditional recipes with homemade bread and pasta! YUM! 

If the food isn’t a good enough reason to visit ( seriously, why isn’t it? ) then the terrace views of Poreč are something you must see! It is a perfect place to start the evening and watch the sunset. Also, the staff is so welcoming and truly contributes to the unique and complete experience, the one you will always want to return to.
