A Wonderful Family Holiday in a Beautiful Villa

We spent 10 wonderful days at Villa Sella Marron as a family of four from Northern Germany, with our two children aged 4 and 10, and we honestly could not have wished for a better place to stay. There is so much to say about this beautiful villa, but what impressed us most was the feeling you get as soon as you arrive. The house is beautiful, stylish and incredibly well designed, with a perfect combination of modern elegance and comfort. Everything feels new, clean and carefully chosen. The villa is fully equipped, and you can immediately see how much thought and care the owners have put into making their guests feel at home. The interior is bright, spacious and beautifully furnished, while still feeling warm, comfortable and welcoming. Nothing feels unnecessary or overdone, everything is simply in the right place. It is one of those homes where you walk in and immediately think, “I could stay here for much longer.” The outside area is just as impressive as the house itself. The garden is beautifully maintained, with a lovely lawn, plants and flowers surrounding the villa. The saltwater infinity pool is absolutely stunning and was always perfectly clean. The outdoor shower, jacuzzi and sauna make the whole area feel like your own private little wellness retreat. One of our favourite places was the outdoor kitchen, beautifully arranged with a direct view of the pool. Having breakfast there in the morning or enjoying dinner together in the evening was one of the highlights of our stay. With such a beautiful outdoor space, you really don’t need to leave the villa to have a perfect holiday. For families with children, the villa is also an amazing base. Our children, aged 4 and 10, had plenty of activities and places to discover nearby. Adventure Park Kringa is only a short drive away, while Poreč offers Dino Park, the Aquarium, the medieval castle and playground, as well as other family-friendly attractions. We also enjoyed visiting Rovinj and discovering more of the beautiful Istrian coast. For something a little different, there are even car stunt shows in Poreč, which were a fun experience for the whole family. Another thing we loved is the privacy and peaceful atmosphere. The villa is situated in a small, charming village with no traffic or noise around the house. It is incredibly quiet and relaxing, while still being in a very convenient location. And the location really is perfect. Within a short drive, you have almost everything you could possibly need. Poreč and Rovinj are around 25 minutes away, and there are plenty of beautiful beaches nearby: natural beaches, public beaches and quieter, more secluded spots where you can relax, swim and enjoy the beautiful Adriatic Sea. A small Studenac supermarket is only about 2 km away, and there are restaurants and pizzerias nearby as well. We especially enjoyed Pizzeria Bella Istria. It is also very convenient to simply buy everything you need and prepare a meal in the villa’s wonderful outdoor kitchen. We would also like to say a special thank you to Fabian, one of the owners. He was incredibly friendly, genuine, helpful and welcoming, and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. We truly appreciated his warm hospitality. For us, Villa Sella Marron was much more than just a place to stay. It was part of the holiday itself. We enjoyed spending time at the villa just as much as exploring Istria. Some days were filled with activities and adventures with the children, while on other days we simply stayed at home, enjoyed the pool, cooked outside and relaxed. Everything is so beautifully arranged that you can simply slow down, switch off and enjoy the moment. We are leaving with wonderful memories of our 10 days here and a feeling of genuine gratitude. The villa is beautiful, peaceful, private, exceptionally well maintained and in an ideal location for both relaxation and exploring. A warm, genuine thank you to the homeowners for sharing this beautiful home with us. Amazing villa, fantastic holiday

Our family of 4 (parents plus 2 adult children) have just returned from 7 days spent at Sella Marron - the villa is simply perfect with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings. The villa itself is extremely well appointed with all you could need - having the hot tub and sauna was an added bonus on top of the amazing pool and outside areas. The location is great being near to Sveti Lovrec with shops and restaurants but also a very short drive to Porec and Rohvinj. Shout out also to Fabian who was always available to offer help and assistance - e.g. we ran out of gas one evening while about to have a BBQ - I messaged him for help and he arrived within 5 mins with a full bottle of gas - he even installed it for us! 10/10 - by far the best villa we have ever stayed in.
