Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus in ruhiger Lage. Alle Angaben entsprachen den Gegebenheiten. Drei Paare (und ein kleines Kind) unterzubringen, war völlig problemlos. Der nächstgelegene Ort Trget ist ein reizender kleiner Hafen mit Nahversorger und zwei guten Restaurants. Direkt am Meer zu baden ist möglich, allerdings nicht ganz ideal. Angeblich ist ein Boot zu mieten, um eine der einsamen Buchten aufzusuchen, die Methode der Wahl. Haben wir (zu Ostern!) nicht probiert. Empfehlung!
We had a perfect stay! Everything is as it is described, very clean and beautifully set up. Also, the view from the balcony is just breathtaking. It is a quite location and if you walk some meters you can reach the local mini market and two nice restaurants. Aleksandra was very helpful and always replied fast she gave us a lot good recommendations about beautiful beaches and places around. If you want to have the perfect vacation in Croatia at a quite place with no worries, I would highly recommend you this Villa!
Super Ferienhaus, alles wie auf den Bildern. Große Schlafzimmer, 2 mit angeschlossenem Bad, 1 mit Bad über dem Gang. Kinderbett vorhanden, am besten gleich ansprechen wenn benötigt. Sehr ruhige Lage. Mega Ausblick. Großer, schöner Garten, großer Pool, Spielmöglichkeiten für die Kinder. Große Hofeinfahrt mit Tor. Im Dorf, ca. 500m mit Hafen, gibt es 2 Restaurants und einen kleinen Einkaufsladen. Nächste Stadt ist ca. 15km entfernt. Strände im Dorf oder etwas weiter z.B. in Rabac. Super gastfreundliche und nette Vermieter. Gute Tipps. Danke euch. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Macht weiter so. Es war ein toller Urlaub in einem wunderschönen, historischen Haus mit einer grandiosen Gastgeberin. - wunderschöner Ausblick - toller Garten inkl. Pool - sehr saubere Anlage - liebevoll Eingerichtet Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!
Die Lage ist für einen ruhigen Urlaub ideal. Man hat einige Spaziermöglichkeiten direkt vor der Haustüre. Ach zum Dorf schafft man es zu Fuß, obwohl dort die Preise eher touristisch sind. Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 15-20min in der nächsten größeren Ortschaft, wo man zu lokal üblichen Preisen unglaublich gut Essen und Einkaufen kann. Das Haus bzw. der dazugehörige Garten & Pool sind in Summe ein Traum. Wir haben oft gekocht & gegrillt. Jedes Zimmer hat sein eigenes Badezimmer - dh 3 Pärchen oder kleine Familien könnten locker Platz finden. Die Gastgeber sind super nett, hilfsbereit und sehr hundefreundlich. Sie halten das im Familienbesitz stehende Haus super in Schuss und sehr sauber, unsere Tochter konnte bedenkenlos überall herumkrabbeln. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung, wir kommen wieder. Source Airbnb

We spent few days in this villa and it was just perfect (location, host, pool/jacuzzi, othee facilities..). I can not think of a single minus for Villa Paola. June 2020.
Our stay at Villa Paola was simply unforgettable!
Everything – including the house, facilities, hospitality of our host, together with the village people – was beyond our expectations.
To start with, the position of the village Pićan is perfect for those nature lovers as well as for more adventurous spirits; close enough to visit a different beach every day and at the same time to enjoy the picturesque landscape of the peninsula's innland while driving through, before you reach the coastline.
Charmful Pićan remained pure and unspoilt by massive tourism, and this makes it even more attractive. The appearance of this small town is caught in medieval time, with just a few locals living in the old city center, which is the reason you actually feel privileged while entering the narrow old city portal until you find this wonderful house –which is, literally- placed at the end of the village! Villa Paola was built as the very last house of the area, followed by nothing more than an abyss, offering a magnificent view of the surroundings! (to be clear - the owner was waiting for us and took us directly to the house, so we didn't feel lost at any time.)
Beside panoramic point, the absolute winner among highlights was jacuzzi/pool. A fact that you can adjust temperature and enjoy it even on a fresh starry night was just awesome! Not forget to mention the open roof top of an old re-established stable, where the pool is situated. And, after the bath, you just continue your wellness in sauna, another facility that can be found inside the property…amazing!
Last but not least – we were so impressed by our host Ivo and his wife Silvija, being soooo nice, helpful and relaxed! They provided us with all information needed, willing to help any time! And we also had a chance to taste an excellent local wine from Ivo's vineyard.
Thank you Silvija and Ivo, for creating this unique and grandiose holliday home! We were more than satisfied and would definitively repeat it!

The hosts were very kind and helpful, and non-intrusive at the same time.
The location and the surroundings are exceptional as every corner of the village/medieval town gleam with history and details that at the same time excite you and bring on a sort of melancholy. It almost seems that on one corner time has stopped 150 years ago and on the next one it's flourishing.
The houses are basically on the cliff face with breathtaking view, and the experience is enhanced by the flights of swallows that nest nearby.
The accommodation is modern and very well thought through. You can see that a lot of thought and effort was put into the restoration and adaptation work.
Looking forward to returning on the first possible occasion. July 2020.
We spent 1 week in this wonderful house as a group of 4 people (2 couples). The 2 bedrooms would fit for a family with children, too. Just to clarify this here, if you are impressed by the pictures on the website (as we were), the pictures are no exaggeration at all. Imagining that this house used to be an old ruin until only some time ago, it is truly amazing what splendid place the owners created out of it. More to it, what cannot be adequately captured by the pictures is the view from the house. The view is really breathtaking as this house sits on top of a mountain in a tiny village, overlooking the valley with an at least 180° view. Another highlight is definitely the pool, which is located in a separate building on the premise with complete privacy. This is not an ordinary pool, but a swim spa jacuzzi, perfect for relaxation. As there is no roof on that building, you can enjoy watching the stars while chilling in your jacuzzi. What finally made this trip perfect was the super nice, friendly and caring host/owner. After a very warm welcome at our arrival, he was always approachable for any questions and help we required. He even helped us with getting delicious meat from a local butcher for barbecue at the house and reminded us about St Lovre's night (night with high activity of shooting stars), which is just beautiful to watch from that place.
