Villa Festina Lente is located only 2 km from the sea and a few minutes' walk to the nearest restaurants and shops, this villa is an excellent choice for a relaxing family vacation. The beautiful villa has the charm of a minimalist modern touch.
On the ground floor you will find an elegant living room connected to the dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room, which is located on the ground floor, as well as the bedrooms are air-conditioned so that you can completely relax during hot summer days. There are two bedrooms with double beds and bathrooms, and a sofa bed in the living room, which means that the villa can accommodate up to 5 people. From the ground floor you have direct access to the spacious terrace surrounding your own private heated pool, where you can spend your days soaking up the sun or relaxing in the shade on the high-quality sun loungers. There is also a covered area with a barbecue, a small summer kitchen and a dining table at your disposal. You will also have four bicycles at your disposal to explore the area.

When booking, 30% of the total price must be paid, while the remaining 70% is due no later than 40 days before arrival. For cancellations 41 or more days before arrival, the deposit will be refunded, with a fee of €50 for administrative costs. Cancelling 40 to 31 days before arrival: the cancellation fee will be 50% of the total amount. Cancelling 30 days or less before arrival: the cancellation fee will be 100% of the total amount.

Surroundings

Makarska is one of the most famous tourist destinations on the Croatian coast. Attractive due to its natural and climatic characteristics, diverse tourist offer and hospitable hosts. For an unforgettable vacation, we recommend you to visit: the old part of the city with the main street Kalalarga with lots of adorable pubs, wine bars, restaurants and galleries. The main town square with the church of St. Marka surrounded by old buildings with a view of one of the most beautiful mountains, Biokovo, which you must visit. You can go by minibus, private car, or if you like sports and recreation, you can go on foot, but of course with consultation at the office of the nature park in Makarska. The latest project at Biokovo is a horseshoe-shaped viewpoint outside the cliff with a glass surface for walking called Skywalk. Also, don't stay on just one beach. The entire Makarska Riviera is full of large beaches and small, hidden coves that you should explore. In summer, the city offers a rich entertainment program called "Makarsko ljeto".

Hello, we stayed at the villa for a total of 14 days. The villa has a fantastic location and is superbly equipped. The furnishings are beautiful and modern. The beds are amazing! I haven't slept so well in unfamiliar beds in a long time. The view of the mountains on one side and the open sea on the other is simply breathtaking! It's breathtaking. The owner immediately takes care of anything that's missing or if you have any questions. Such service is rare! He also gave us tips on where to eat and where to buy delicious olive oil. The tips were fantastic. The food was delicious, and we even took 7 liters of the oil home with us. Grocery stores are within walking distance of the villa. The only slight drawback is the somewhat basic selection of dishes, cups, and glasses. For four people, a few more would be helpful in this area. However, the owner responded immediately and provided glasses! (Marco)

This villa is wonderful for a relaxing family holiday. The host Kresno was approachable and very helpful and he couldn’t do enough for us, booking some local restaurants and taxi services. The house has everything you need and the pool is great. The beds are very comfortable. It’s nice to have AC and a really well equipped kitchen. Lots of thoughtful touches. We cooked at the villa some nights on the outdoor barbecue which felt authenticity Croatian, and ate out on Kresno’s recommendation other nights. The bikes were a nice touch as the area is quite hilly! It’s easy to cycle to the supermarket. We walked into Makarska in about 15 minutes but got a taxi back uphill. The town is great for water sports and bars/restaurants but the beach is quite crowded. The local area is under development but the views of the sea and the island of Hvar are spectacular. We will definitely be back! (Beth)
