In the center of Makarska Riviera is a small place Podgora, a great spot for your vacation. Welcome to the ecologically completely clean part of the Adriatic Sea, with a sunset in a hundred colors! Above the newly built, sea part of the village, do not miss to visit the old part of the village, the so-called "Stara Podgora", which will amaze you with an excellent view of the sea and the nearby islands of Brac, Hvar and the Peljesac peninsula. From here you can easily access the Biokovo Botanical Garden Kotišina, as well as the Biokovo Nature Park itself. Beautiful beaches, a long promenade, numerous cafes and restaurants, many statues of sea creatures, small boats and the most famous monument - Broken Seagull Wing, will bring you closer to the mentality of this small fishing village. In just 10 minutes by car you can reach Makarska, the city center of the area.
