Charming stone house on a walking distance from the beach

Holiday home Dina is a charming stone house located in Valbandon, a small place near the cities of Fažana and Pula. The house has two floors and can accommodate up to eight persons. It is a combination of traditional istrian architecture and modern elements.
On the ground floor there is a living room with a TV, a fully equipped kitchen with kitchen utensils and modern cooking appliances, and a dining room. Furthermore, there's a bathroom with a shower. Couches in the living room can be used as additional beds for extra guests. On the first floor you can find three double bed bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. The bedrooms have an entrance to the balcony overlooking a private garden infornt of the house. Bed linen and towels are provided. The house is fully air-conditioned. There is a barbecue grill and a big covered terrace in the garden. Private parking place. Pets are welcome!

Valbandon is a tourist settlement situated on the southern coast of Istria and the fact that it is very close to Pula and Fažana, makes this the perfect destination for families with children. At the same time the closeness of the Brijuni National Park makes it an appealing tourist destination. Valbandon offers a special advantage for small children in its long pebble beaches which are perfect for children’s play, while the thick pine tree forest guarantees fresh air in the hot summer days. Every year, Valbandon hosts a festivity called “Valbandon ispod črpinje” (“Valbandon under a Dutch oven”), where traditional Istrian meals in a round dish meant for open-air cooking are prepared (lamb, octopus, various types of fish and others) .
In the traditional Istrian cuisine restaurants you can taste the Istrian malvasia, and all along the Olive oil trail, you can enjoy the “divine elixir” which the Roman emperors considered the measure of perfection. Visitors to the Fažana Riviera, aside from the gorgeous beaches, have access to numerous biking trails, golf courses, a windsurfing school and so on and finally Pula with its Amphitheater is not that far.

Eine sauberes geräumiges Haus mit wenigen Fahrminuten zum Strand. Auch Ideal als Ausgangspunkt für eine Tour nach Pula, Porec usw. Sehr netter und aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der weiteren Kontakt nicht scheut. (Christian)

Wir haben uns zweieinhalb Wochen sehr wohl und wie zuhause in diesem Ferienhaus gefühlt. Die Schlüsselübergabe (im Haus, direkt vom Besitzer) klappte problemlos. Die Ausstattung lässt so gut wie nichts vermissen, evtl. könnte der Besitzer noch einen Toaster und einen Wasserkocher anschaffen, dann geht die Frühstücksvorbereitung schneller. Die Klimaanlage leistete unschätzbare Dienste bei den hochsommerlichen Temperaturen. Terasse und Hof sind wundervoll, um abends mit einem Glas istrischem Wein draußen zu sitzen und zu grillen. In der Umgebung findet man wirklich viele Möglichkeiten der Urlaubsgestaltung, allerdings muss man schon ein Auto oder Fahrräder dabei haben, fußläufig ist selbst der Ortskern von Fazana oder der Strand etwas weit. Wir waren richtig traurig beim Abschied von unserem Urlaubsdomizil. Reisezeitraum: August 2017 (Frau Brockmann aus Strals)

Wir waren mit mit unseren beiden Jungs und unseren beiden Hunden hier. Super lieber Besitzer, spricht auch englisch, so das es keine Verständigungsprobleme gibt. Da Haus ist ca. 1,5km vom Zentrum Fazana weg, was wir sehr genossen haben. So konnte man auch abends problemlos draußen sitzen ohne von anderen Feriengästen beschallt zu werden. Umgebung ist auch supet, in Fazana gibt es einen Hundestrand mit einer einfachen Strandbar, alles easy:-) wir haben uns sehr gut erholt. Reisezeitraum: Juni 2017 (Frau Kleine aus Weinböhla)
