Surroundings

In the heart of Istria rises on a high plateau the small town Zminj. It is considered the historical intersection of all roads in Istria. If you look into the distance, you can see very quickly the church tower of the parish church of the Archangel Michael; the landmark and the symbol of the Istria County rises above the rooftops of Zminj.
Today, Zminj is a holiday destination, that ca be actively explored. Idyllic cycling and hiking trails invite you to explore the picturesque landscape of Croatia.
A few kilometers further you will find the most beautiful beaches of Istria. For example, you can drive to Rovinj. It takes about 30 minutes at a distance of 25 km to reach Rovinj. There are many beautiful beaches where you can swim well.

The location of the house is such that from here you are in a short time both by the sea and inland. There is a lot to see and you can go hiking wonderfully. April 2022. (Udo)
