When booking, 10% of the total price must be paid, while the remaining 90% is due no later than 30 days before arrival. For cancellations 30 or more days before arrival, the deposit will be refunded, with a fee of €50 for administrative costs. For cancellations between 29 and 0 days before arrival, 100% of the total reservation price will be charged.

Surroundings

Buzet is situated in the very north of Istria near the border with Slovenia. Its historic core, dating from the Middle Ages lies on a hilltop above a fertile valley of the longest Istrian river – the Mirna. Today, Buzet is widely known as the 'City of Truffles' since the forests along the Mirna River are especially rich in this divine tuber. According to some views, the white truffle of Istria is as good as the most famous white truffle from the Italian region of Alba. In honour of this truffle, each year Truffle Days are organized in September and October. On the second weekend in September a large folk festivity also take place in Buzet with a special attraction – a giant omelette (commonly known as 'fritada' or 'fritaja') with over 2 000 eggs and 10 kilograms off truffles is prepared in a huge pan. This event officially marks the beginning of Truffle Days in Istria. In the surroundings of Buzet there are some very well preserved medieval towns.

Great holiday home in Buzet in a quiet environment. The house has two separate apartments - ideal for two families who are friends, both of which are well equipped. Pets are welcome. The landlady regularly provided seasonal vegetables. The grounds and the pool were always clean. Above the house there is a truffle shop that must be visited. And the distillery in Buzet is also a must. We would be very hospitably received everywhere. All in all, relaxation is guaranteed in the holiday home and in the surrounding area. Excellent villa for families with children.

The villa is big, nice and very clean and the surroundings are very nice. The view from the villa over the valley and the village of Buzet is amazing. The service is above standard. Everything to live with a couple of families in the villa is present and available. We had a good time in this villa and spent a lot of time in the big swimming pool with the kids. The dogs from the nearby truffle store bark in the morning for about ten minutes. But not too annoying, the kids did not wake up. (Monique, August 2022) (Monique)
