The island connected with the land with bridge at 16th century. The name Primošten is from Croatian word primostit, which mean connect with bridge. Around a town were walls with towers, but they were moved in 19th century. Presently is Primošten connect with the land with route. The church of St.Juraj from 15th century was remodel in 1760. Harbour is protecting with northeast and northwest winds.
