Funtana is a fishermen's, agricultural and tourist village on the western coast of Istria. It is located between the tourist towns Vrsar and Porec, and its is spreading from Zelena Laguna in the west till Valkanela in the south. It is a part of the coast of the Istrian peninsula with numerous bays and islands. Funtanas area is hilly, covered with vineyards, olive groves, fields and meadows, oak and pine forests that are frequently spreading till shoreline. This small coastal town is rich in numerous restaurants that give special charm in the summer. Along the coast there are nicely decorated camps and several hotels.
